Congratulations MSA !!!
Congrats to the Middle School A team for winning the 2009 Ice Line Middle School XMAS tournament!
The team went undefeated throughout the tournament and won a very exciting 8-6 game over Twin Valley
for the title.

Preliminary schedules are available for all teams. The Varsity and JV schedules are probably more solidified than
the Middle School schedules. The MSAA and MSB schedules will probably change a bit so keep checking back for updates.

be in PointStreak, but for now
only the single listing is available.

Registration for the 2009 - 2010 season has begun. Go to the Registration page and
follow the instructions to register. Camp begins on August 17th.

Get Aquainted Night
Spring-Ford Ice Hockey club is hosting a Get Aquainted Night. If you will be in 5th grade
or higher this fall, please come in full hockey gear and get to know us.
When: Sunday April 26th 4pm - 6pm

SFIHC Year End Banquet
The details for the banquet have been set and are as follows:

Location: The Loft at Limerick Golf Club
Food: Buffet style lunch including 3 main courses, potatoes and vegetable sides.
Soda, coffee, tea. Dessert is cake.

Player Handbook Updated
The Parent/Player handbook has been converted from the PDF form to a more web-friendly
style. Please take a moment if you have time to review the information with the
handbook. It can be accessed from the Parent/Player Handbook menu item.
Pictures on Sunday Dec. 21st!!
The pictures have been rescheduled!!. Please wear your BLUE jerseys for the pictures.
Middle School pictures are at 4:30PM and High
School pictures are at 6:15PM. Please be dressed and ready AT LEAST 15 minutes prior to your
scheduled time.

Giving Bean Coffee Fundraiser
The coffee fundraiser was kicked off on Sunday September 7th.
The players were given a Coffee fundraising form as they left practice on Sunday.
Completed order forms are due back by Sunday September 21st.
Remember, for every bag sold $2 goes back to you to offset the cost of playing hockey.
Note: The order form is incorrect. It asks for email address. This is not necessary.
Home address or phone number is all that is needed.
Delivery is anticipated to be late October.

Practice Starts Sunday September 7th
Middle School 4:30PM - 6:00PM
High School 6:15PM - 7:15PM
The Middle School coaches would like the players to arrive no later than 3:30PM so that we can get some dryland training in before practice.
Dryland training consists of some stretching exercises followed by a short run.

Middle School Dryland on Thursday's(optional)
We are confirmed for Thursday nights for dryland at 6:30PM at a street hockey rink in
Kimberton. We will have a brief workout followed by some street hockey.
We plan to do this every Thursday from 6:30PM until dark for as long as we can.
Directions to the rink:
It is behind field 3 at the Kimberton fire co baseball fields off of rt 113. You can
also get to it on the Kimberton Rd. If you come down 724, turn rt onto Hares hill rd,
and turn left at the Kimberton post office onto Kimberton Rd. Go past the next stop
sign and it's on your right. You can either park in the Kimberton park lot, or go to
the next right into the baseball fields at KYAL (the fire co) and park there. It is
near the swings at the park. It is all fenced in, smooth and well maintained.
Hockey Camp
Spring-Ford's Annual Summer Camp for High School AND Middle School
Join us as Spring-Ford Ice Hockey Club invades Center Ice and takes over both rinks for skill development and player evaluation
Where: Center Ice
Date: Mon August 18 - Fri August 22
Time: 4:45PM - 5:45PM
Arrive early so players can take the ice promptly at 4:45PM.
IMPORTANT: All players and coaches need to register with
USA Hockey before they can take the ice. If you are not registered prior to the camp start, then you must sign a waiver to be permitted
on the ice.
